Marketing Associate / Intelligent Marketing Services

We are seeking an individual with a true passion for marketing to join the progressive team at Customer Portfolios.  The Marketing Associate will work closely with our marketing services clients to develop and execute programs and campaigns, and provide ongoing analysis.  You will interact on a daily basis with the extended team and will be involved in all areas of Customer Portfolios to ensure that marketing strategy, targeting, and delivery are accomplished.  The ideal candidate must demonstrate the ability to deliver results in a marketing services environment in a timely manner.

 

Key Responsibilities Contribute to the customer lifecycle and brand promise designs for clientsPrepare, implement and deliver client deliverables, including marketing plans, budgets, calendars, and program resultsActively make recommendations on strategy and segmentation to the both the client and the internal teamContribute to the development of process requirements to ensure marketing programs, across all direct marketing channels, are closed loopCoordinate the process or develop the creative/copy for electronic and physical collateral/mailCreate ad hoc queries to pull lists for programsExecute programs and then track, measure, and report results to the clientsIdentify reporting requirements beyond Customer Portfolios’ Standard Reports (RFM, Lifecycle, Program Results)Develop Monthly Portfolio Reviews for clientsAssist in formal development of practice and methodologies by preparing and submitting client work and case examples

 

Experience and Skills Required Bachelor’s degree in Business or related discipline is preferred2 years’ professional experience in any of the following fields:Direct Marketing (on- and off-line)Database or Direct Marketing (customer behavior analysis, program design and execution)Integrated Channel MarketingAgency/ConsultingHTML experience Strong communications/interpersonal skills to build relationship, manage and coordinate internal and external resourcesResults-oriented problem solverTeam player that has a strong attention to detail Data interpretation capabilities and quantitative skillsGeneral Understanding of the following:Marketing automation/applicationSQL, MS Access, Excel Analytical tools, techniques and report writingDatabase segmentation, test design, and evaluation
