In working for the dominant leader in the industry, the IMS position’s primary responsibility will be to design, implement and maintain the technology infrastructure which includes systems, network, desktop and storage for Cydcor with a focus on service management. This position must ensure a high degree of reliability, availability and serviceability of all infrastructure components within the Cydcor network by blending the technical leadership and the technical skills to: establish a three year infrastructure roadmap including a technology architecture, service management processes, standard policies and procedures and the methodology to meet the standards while maintaining the service levels for all infrastructure components.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:(35%) Infrastructure Engineering and Administration: Design, build and project manage all infrastructure projects to ensure a high degree quality and delivery. Technology areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to: company network, servers, storage, active directory, email, sharepoint, information security, remote access, anti-virus protection, and WAN and LAN configuration. Perform network hardware and software upgrades as necessary. (25%) End User Desktop Support: Design, develop and deploy the client system infrastructure using a variety of techniques including active directory group policy and software distribution. Troubleshoot client system problems as reported to IT. Respond to the needs of the users concerning their access to resources and performance of systems. (20%) Technology Operations: Lead specification, procurement, design, deployment and upgrades of data center infrastructure such as: UPS, Generator, HVAC and rack systems. Orchestrate and Lead Department Disaster Recovery Plan Update effort annually.
1. Monitor network resources, including server RAM and disk space. Manage the server room infrastructure including power, HVAC etc. Insure that adequate backups are maintained of all files, security, and rights. Troubleshoot network problems. Set up and maintain file services, users, groups, printer queues, directory structures, rights, and security on the network
20% of the following:Build architecture review process and conduct review meetings as needed. Review changes proposed and ensure that all requirements for successful integration are met. Develop the documentation and procedures to install, support and maintain all infrastructure solutions developed. Remain abreast of changes in industry standards and practices, keeping management informed of changes that have potential impact on the company network. Maintain documentation for network security, network design and layout, file backup and restore procedures, and file server shutdown and restart procedures.

2. Completes special projects and priorities as assigned.
3. Performs other duties as assigned.
4. Supervise 3rd party vendor activities.
Job Requirements MCSE required. CNA desired. Ability to supervise 3rd party vendors. Extensive problem solving & leadership skills. Knowledge of service management. Foundations certification preferred. Skilled in the use of the following productivity tools: MS Outlook, MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS SharePoint and MS Project and Visio are required. Excellent Communication skills (Written, Verbal, and Presentation) with ability to sell concepts and ideas to a diverse range of internal and external customers Proven ability to provide technical leadership in order to build quality solutions on time and within budget Ability to balance the goals of the company, while maintaining adequate controls and accurate records Four-year college degree, in computer science or mathematics, or equivalent level of experience. Five to 7 years experience as a Network Administrator with at least 3 years at a senior level. Must have experience w/file server installations and network design. 5 + years related work experience required (preferably in a large fast-paced business environment), engineering infrastructure network, storage and system solutions with a focus on Microsoft, Cisco and NetApp.3+ years information security experience with knowledge of ISO17799 and/or cobit 3+ years of experience applying formal methodologies and processes in all phases of service management.3+ years of experience managing projects with documented business benefits leveraging infrastructure technologies Proven ability to lead, direct and supervise others. Experience in outsourcing technology processes and then managing the performance of the third party Ability to see the big picture and how the impacts of change and/or a catastrophic event could affect the goals of the company
