In working for the dominant leader in the industry, the IMS position’s primary responsibility will be to design, develop and deploy the information architecture for Cydcor systems with a focus on data warehouse and business intelligence technologies. This position must ensure a high degree of data quality for all Cycor systems by blending the technical leadership and the technical skills to: establish a master data management plan including an information architecture, physical/ logical data models, data dictionary and the methodology to meet established standards while maintaining the information services delivered over the entire development life cycle.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
(35%) Design, develop, deploy and project manage a data ware house and business intelligence solution for Cydcor using both internal and external data sources and current technologies. Define these solutions in order to position Cydcor with an analytical capability that creates a strategic advantage. (20%) Develop the organization’s reporting strategy and roadmap by partnering with IT strategic vendors and apply system analysis techniques to select information management technologies that ensure data quality, consistency, integrity, security and availability of Cydcor systems. (15%) Analyze business processes and requirements and translate into technical designs and specifications(15%) Establish information architecture and design standards for Cydcor and develop the policies, procedures and processes to maintain these standards.(15%) the following:
A. Build architecture review process and conduct review meetings as needed. Review changes proposed and ensure that all requirements for successful integration are met. Develop the documentation and procedures to install, support and maintain all information solutions developed.
B. Research new information management technologies and remain abreast of industry standards and best practices, analyze potential impact on company systems and inform management of actions needed or other recommendations
1. Perform 3rd level problem management activities
2. Train users on new technologies and upgrades
3. Completes special projects and priorities as assigned.
4. Performs other duties as assigned.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND LICENSE OR CERTIFICATE REQUIRED:
Knowledge of formal methodologies and processes in all phases of the SDLCSkilled in the use of the following productivity tools: MS Outlook, MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint and MS Project and Visio are required. Excellent data modeling and architecture skillsStrong programming, debugging and problem solving skills
· Excellent Communication skills (Written, Verbal, and Presentation) with ability to sell concepts and ideas to a diverse range of internal and external customers
· Proven ability to provide technical leadership in order to build quality solutions on time and within budgetAbility to balance the goals of the company, while maintaining adequate controls and accurate records
PHYSICAL ABILITY: (Describe the specific physical requirements necessary to accomplish the essential job functions. i.e. ability to sit or stand for long periods of time, lifting requirements, audio and visual requirements etc.)
· Must be able to drive safely for frequent business travel
· Must be able to sit for long periods of time.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: (Typical pattern of education and experience which would provide the knowledge and skills indicative of successful job performance.)Four-year college degree, in computer science or mathematic, or equivalent level of experience.10+ years related work experience required (preferably in a large fast-paced business environment), engineering commercial software and practical knowledge of Object-Oriented analysis and design, design patterns, rapid development, and software engineering principles.7+ years of commercial data modeling and architecture experience in a web services environment using XML technologies (XML, SOAP), .NET technologies and browser technologies including HTML authoring and other portal technologies. 5+ years of relational database experience (Oracle and SQL Server preferred) with ETL, OLAP, data warehousing and business intelligence technologies including business objects5+ years of experience applying formal methodologies and processes in all phases of the software development lifecycle. 5+ years of experience managing projects with documented business benefits to increase revenue leveraging database technologies

This person will work closely with the CIO, Campaign Directors, Data Management, Business Planning and all other Managers, Directors and VPs. Externally, this person will work closely with vendors and other solution providers.
