Maintenance Engineer
Responsibilities
Provides support to Distribution, production and non-production areas of the company. Evaluates and improves facility layouts, productivity, methods, costs, material handling systems and incentive pay systems. Engineers and design simple to medium manufacturing and distribution systems to improve existing operations and provide for anticipated growth. Evaluates and develops facility layouts including equipment changes, office space, planning and work station design. Investigates and reviews new technologies to improve processing methods. Evaluates existing operation procedures and refines and develops work methods, procedures, labor standards, and incentive pay systems for both new and existing operations.
Requirements
A Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering is required, with a minimum of 2-5 years of industrial engineering experience. A knowledge of incentive pay systems, distribution systems, and facility layouts, cost reductions, CAD, material handling, equipment justification, statistics and quality tools. Project management experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently is a must. Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
