Lead Generation Specialist - Inside Sales

POSITION PROFILE The Lead Generation Specialist Representative proactively calls into the IKON customer base to generate sales opportunity for the field sales organization via the telephone. Collaborates with the Field Sales Manager to identify the customer base that should be targeted for active prospecting. Identifies future opportunities to support team sales goals. Responsible for calls generated into the customer base as well as leads/appointments set for the field sales organization into targeted accounts. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Grows revenue and profitability by identifying current customer business opportunities within a specific account base. Contacts current customers via specific accounts identified and accessible to rep via On-Target. Works with field sales organization to identify targeted current customer base to call into. Identifies customer service issues and works with various support organizations for resolution. Leverages inside sales call guide to identify possible sale opportunities.If equipment upgrade opportunity does not currently exist, make sure to brand the IKON name and ensure customer is aware of all the document services we provide. Identify other potential sale opportunities and forward to appropriate sales representative to follow up. Follows up with all customers, internal and external, ensuring that their issues have been resolved completely. Achieves specific monthly call and lead/appointment setting metric.Identify competitive situations and escalates to management for quick customer follow up. Updates and maintains account history and daily activity records in On-Target. Works with sales management to understands area level pricing and promotions to advise customers on possible upgrade opportunities. Performs occasional data-entry of equipment orders. Checks voice mail and e-mail regularly and respond in a timely manner. Perform other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience and Certifications) Requires 2-year college degree or equivalent work experience. 4-year college degree preferred.
