THE ORGANIZATION

Publishers Certified, Inc. is a magazine circulation consulting agency desiring a full-time Jr. Agent Relations Representative/ Jr. Web Developer to join our team in Old Town Fairfax, VA.

 

THE POSITION



We are looking for an entry-level staff member with experience in customer service, data entry and some web development. The ideal candidate will be highly professional, self-motivated, detail oriented, possess a superior work ethic and is willing to contribute to the growth of the company and team. The Jr. Agent Relations Representative/ Jr. Web Developer will be responsible for three main areas of concentration: Customer service Data entry IT marketing support

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES



The main areas of concentration include, but are not limited to, the following responsibilities: Customer service Solely responsible for resolving a medium volume of customer service via telephone, email and facsimile in a timely fashion. Maintaining records of all inbound and outbound customer service on the company database. Maintaining relationships with agents through superior service and communication. Data entry Weekly data entry of all sales agents’ magazine subscription orders. Ensure the care of all agent orders through attention to detail and accuracy. Responsible for the completion of each weekly processing. IT marketing support Web development and marketing support for websites and marketing programs requiring entry-level exposure to html, Javascript, php and some knowledge in Linux Command line skills.

 

POSITION REQUIREMENTS



In order to be successful in this position, the ideal candidate must possess:  Minimum of two years customer service and data entry experience. Minimum of one year web development experience. Proven attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills required with the ability to work in high pressure situations. Requires the ability to exercise reasonable judgment with a strong initiative. Must be a self starter with the ability to multi task judgment and decision making skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.

Hours are 7:30 to 5:30, Monday through Thursday.  Office is closed on Friday's.

 

Benefits are offered after a 90 day probationary period.

 

A minimum of two references are required if the applicant moves beyond the first interview process.
