Location:US-IL-Chicago Job Number:CHI00037 Employee Status : Regular Job Type :Experienced Schedule : Full-time Description Provide assistance to clients for all lines of business including pricing, reserving, financial forecasting, product development, profit and loss analysis, analysis of risk arrangements, developing rates, rating plans, pricing strategies, estimates for required reserve levels, and valuations. Understand/communicate complex actuarial issues. Stay informed and apply professional standards and firm policies (e.g., Actuarial Standards of Practice). Develop and maintain productive working relationships with client management. Focus on deliverables and prioritize. Manage expectations of service. Successfully manage to the budget. Stay informed of general business/economic developments and their impact to the client. Develop people. Effectively delegate work. Contribute to on-the-job feedback/training and conduct performance reviews. Coach junior staff in the pursuit of actuarial examinations/credentials. Foster teamwork and innovative thinking.
