Inside Information Sales Representative

We are a growing midtown Manhattan company seeking an inside sales representative to foster further growth.  Your responsibilities will be to generate revenue from lead sources and develop new clients in defined territories. The selected candidates will be responsible for contributing to achieving company revenue targets by acting as the first point-of-contact for prospects, qualifying leads, and closing sales by phone. 

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:  Qualifying and producing quality leads Closing information sales by phone Researching market verticals and developing plans for addressing the opportunities in those verticals Presenting and articulating advanced product features, benefits, and overall product solutions Developing and managing reference sites through high quality technical and professional client relationships Engaging in regular monthly and quarterly business reviews and weekly forecast activities Supporting marketing and enterprise sales activities Performing data entry into a CRM system for lead sources, and other duties as assigned.



QualificationsWe are seeking goal-oriented individuals with the desire for a long-term career in sales.  The successful candidates will possess an aggressive, professional, and take-charge style with the motivation for success.  Here’s what you should bring to the table: BA/BS degree preferred with 2+ years relevant business/software industry experience A proven track record of 2-3 years successful sales experience (financial software or IT related preferred) in to business environments with financial services, hedge funds, and other financial oriented companies preferred. Exceptional sales skills (verbal and written communication skills, and proven negotiation techniques) Ability to communicate with a wide range of audiences Experience managing a sales process and your pipeline using SalesForce, SugarCRM, or other CRM software.
