Import Export Compliance Specialist I, Records

Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Assist Logistics with obtaining necessary import and export documentation.
2. Review data integrity and address errors through preliminary file review.
3. Facilitate the merging of Customer Service (parts and engines) and Logistics export files.
4. Support the Logistics department in regards to import and export compliance issues.
5. Gather necessary documentation for monthly compliance reviews.
6. Collaborate with Logistics to facilitate documentation for Post Entry Amendments (PEAs).
7. Assist Import Export Compliance Manager with special projects as needed.
8. Prepare and maintain accurate records.

Educational Background Required:
•Associate degree in Business Administration, Logistics or equivalent field.
•An equivalent combination of education and experience is desired.

Work Experience Required:
•1-3 years overall business experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment or in a customs brokerage, freight forwarder, or logistics business.
•Strong understanding of import and/or export regulations.
• Demonstrated computer skills (MS Office - Word, Excel, and Access) and other data management software.
• Minimum of one year experience in the area of import and/or export compliance is preferred.
