Industry Market Segment Manager - This industry marketing manager position works with business leaders at the world wide and the country level to develop industry market penetration strategies, value propositions and sales assets driving an increase in market share for both collaboration solutions and the IBM portfolio supporting social business. You will join a team of marketing professionals working to transform our go-to-market strategy to focus more strongly on Line of Business professionals over IT. Your contributions will include market segmentation analysis, route to market planning, the development of industry specific marketing strategies, recommendations for demand generation activities, and the development of sales assets (quick reference guides, prospecting materials/presentations, solutions briefs, videos, demos and client references/testimonials). Candidates need to be creative and willing to think outside the box to develop new marketing strategies and tactics to shape the Social Business market. They will help to evolve the IBM Social Business story and provide messaging guidance to the marketing and sales community. Preference will be given to candidates with background in insurance, banking, healthcare, government, retail or electronics.

Go-to-Market Marketing Manager - This team provides messaging guidance across the IBM Collaboration Solution business unit and the IBM Social Business marketing community. You will work with selected strategic partners on GTM plans and execution to bring Social Business to life. You will manage the strategic messages for key mega events that are at a cross-IBM level (Impact, Information on Demand, Blackberry World, etc.). You will Interlock with key Analysts and Press and Bloggers to shape the market story for Social Business and oversee \"strategic\" customer reference development to support the Social Business storyline. Finally you will lead the interlock with IBM's broader Smart Planet initiative and help manage key client and partner councils to solicit feedback on IBM's strategy.

Marketing Segment Manager - This position is responsible for developing and driving the IBM Collaboration Solutions(ICS) strategy and messaging - specifically the Messaging and Social Collaboration Portfolio. This includes acting as a subject matter expert and creating content for the ICS offerings; driving quality brand differentiators via our software story; creating customer facing deliverables; driving implementation across the marketing, sales and IBM regional organizations; managing the IBM software strategy website & WIKI's and; integrating role based marketing into deliverables and; playing an active role in IBM strategic initiatives . Crucial to this role will be the mapping in of the the ICS portfolio of solutions into the growing Social Business space and the launch of Social Mail. You will work closely with market insights, demand programs, sales and IBM regional organizations, and also be responsible for driving initiatives through the various channels including Business Partners. More specifically, this individual will be responsible for:

Creating the Go-To-Market plan and Strategy for aspects of ICS Portfolio in alignment with Social Business.

Work with the Product Management, Offering Management and the wider ICS team including Sales Managers and Executive level management.

Creation of Web Facing and Sales/Marketing Play assets and driving strategy and execution across the IMT Marketing teams for ICS and SB Program


Required
Master's Degree
At least 3 years experience in Manage Relationships With Influence and Negotiation
At least 3 years experience in Use Communication Skills
At least 3 years experience in Develop Segment Marketing Plan
Readiness to travel 10% travel annually
English: Fluent
