IT Transformation - IT Effectiveness Manager - Atlanta or Charlotte

Location:US-GA-Atlanta Job Number:ATL00024 Employee Status : Regular Job Type :Experienced Schedule : Full-time Description Within Ernst & Young's Technology & Security Risk Services (TSRS) practice, the IT Effectiveness and Transformation solution is designed to provide our clients with a means to assess improve and monitor the benefits being delivered to the business by IT. We accomplish this by helping our clients improve the alignment of IT with the business and strategy; increase the effectiveness of the IT governance process; enhance the efficiency of IT operations from a process and controls perspective and measure IT performance against the needs of the business and user expectations. We are currently seeking a Manager who will be responsible for leading projects or elements of multiple client engagements including service delivery and sales generation along with other related activities. This professional will manage engagement teams and provide technical leadership in the assessment, design and implementation of security and IT risk solutions. The successful candidate will work with client personnel to analyze, evaluate, and enhance information systems to develop and improve security at both a procedural and technology level. Responsibilities:Collaborate with other members of the team to plan the engagement by developing project plans, work programs, timelines, risk assessments, and other planning documents. Work with the team to document the business processes dependent on information technology. Ensure high quality in client service by directing daily progress of fieldwork, informing supervisors of engagement status, and managing staff performance. Demonstrate and apply a thorough understanding of complex information systems. Use knowledge of the current IT environment and industry IT trends to identify the engagement and client service issues, and communicate this information to the engagement team and client management through written correspondence and verbal presentations. Demonstrate and apply strong project management skills, inspire teamwork and responsibility with engagement team members, and use current technology and tools to enhance the effectiveness of deliverables and services. To qualify for this position candidates must have: Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related major and 5+ years experience Advanced written and verbal communications skills Demonstrated integrity within a professional environment Excellent leadership and teaming skills Demonstrated ability to perform consulting assignments, lead projects, participate in and/or lead sales pursuits Must have previous experience as a Manager in a consulting environment Ability to travel (including potential overseas travel) Current US drivers license CPA, CA, CISA, CISSP, CISM, CBCP, CIA or CFE certification is required.
