About the Opportunity Local investment and securities firm seeking Help Desk/Tech Support specialist. Primary responsibility is telephone support of online and desktop brokerage applications. Additional duties will include network administration and PC hardware/software support. Casual, fast-paced environment requires customer-oriented, flexible team player with good communication skills.

Uses customer-oriented telephone etiquette to get information. Greets callers, establishes rapport, and projects professional tone.

Grasps technical concepts and communicates them quickly.

Is attentive to the needs of customers. Responds quickly and competently to customer requests.

Preferred

Can explain product features and benefits.

Familiar with system administration, including system maintenance, workstation support, Internet connectivity, and back-up procedures.

Experience in a help desk or IT support environment.
