Position:  Human Resources Specialist

Reports to:  Vice President of Human Resources 

Position Responsibility and Duties:Manage the pre-employment & new hire process; conduct background checks, create new hire packets, meet with new hires to complete required paperwork, enter pertinent information into ADP and EZlabor systems, create personnel filesManage unemployment & workers compensation claims; to include but not limited to telephone hearing participation, conference call coordination & monthly claims reportingMaintain and manage group term & supplemental life insurance information for all locations; generate required reportsManage the temporary employment conversion process; communication, coordination, paperwork preparation and delivery, meetings with those converted to present offer material and training coordinationSkip trace licensing; maintenance, coordination, compliance, trackingI9 and personnel file compliance; maintain active/inactive documentationEvent coordination/participation as appropriateCourier compliance; consistent with company policy, perform yearly MVR checks, maintain proofs of insuranceOther duties as assigned and/or deemed necessary
