General Manager -Watches & Jewellery

Our client is one of the preeminent Groups in the United Arab E and is considered one of the Worlds fastest growing retail companies. Their organisation comprises a diverse range of strategically positioned operations across many countries. Collectively they represent some of the worlds leading brands. Due to unprecedented growth they now requires an experienced General Manager- Watches & Jewellery.

The purpose of the role is to achieve the most profitable operation, ensuring future growth and international reputation of our clients global watches, jewellery and allied products business. The role is Dubai headquartered with outlets across the Gulf & Singapore with new outlets being planned for Egypt. The business runs along the wholesale supply chain for jewellery and operates across the top of the mass market sector in watches with high profile brands as well as our own in-house brands. Horizontally operations in retail, wholesale (duty free) and as a principal.

Ideally you will come from a jewellery background. Paramount for success in the role will be your proven - leadership across multiple brands and outlets in different countries, sound retail knowledge with a clear vision. Essential will be exposure to retail demographic and watch retailing experience, buying and planning, marketing qualifications and experience and the ability to run a dynamic and profitable business.

It is expected you are highly confident & capable, with a positive, proactive approach to everything you do.
