Sports medicine / preventive medicine clinic seeks motivated, intelligent, positive individual for front office coordinator / management position.  Our patients are motivated individuals seeking guidance for health and fitness improvement.

 

 

Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  Capacity to work 30-40 hours per week Scheduling appointments Answering phones and responding to inquiries about the business and services. Written communication with prospective patients and vendors. Invoicing patients and other customers, collecting payment at the time of service, providing receipts. Keeping front patient areas and working areas organized and clean. Filing business documents and patient related information. Communicating with insurance carriers about coverage and billing issues.

 

Required skills / characteristics include:

  Personable and 'team player' Fluency in Microsoft Office Outlook, Word and preferably Excel. Knowledge and basic skills in Quickbooks accounting software Knowledge of ICD and CPT coding (does not have to be expert in this) Intelligent, multi-tasking capability Punctual Attention to detail Organized and efficient Excellent verbal and written communication skills Comfortable working in team environment

 

Benefits:

  1 week paid vacation first year of employment (eligible after 6 months employment) 1 week non-paid vacation first year of employment Health insurance benefit (eligible after 6 months employment) Pension plan (eligible after 1 year employment) $15-20 per hour pay rate depending on experience (starting pay greater than $17 / hour only for those with minimum of 4 years experience in field)
