Forecasting Specialist - WalMart Team - Eden Prairie, MN

Robinson has a career for you!The forecasting specialist will lead the process for forecasting and inventory management for a specific customer. The goal of the forecasting specialist is to provide excellent service to our customers by exceeding their expectations in customer service and communication through the use of analytical services. This specialist's primary responsibility is keeping the customer supplied with the right quantity of merchandise at the appropriate point in time to meet store demand. The right person should be team-oriented, a quick thinker, have excellent customer service skills, and strong detail skills. The individual should also possess exceptional communication skills, leadership, and problem-solving abilities. Must be available to work a Saturday morning rotation.The responsibilities for this position include:- Analyze current and previous sales trends of each sku- Analyze and forecast store needs through using a variety of tools- Control and monitor inventory levels to meet the customer's expectation - Maintain Daily Activity Sheet accuracy- Daily communication with forecasting supervisor regarding potential opportunities- Communicating and collaborating effectively with supervisor to formulate solutions- Continue training and advancement to meet customers needs- Mentor team members as neededQualifications:The required qualifications for this position include:- Superior project management capabilities- Ability to effectively influence others- Strong analytical, problem-solving and numbers skills- Strategic and creative thinking skills- Confident decision-maker- Ability to follow customer's individual guidelines- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Effective communication (verbal and written) and strong customer service skills- Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively- Strong leadership skills- Strong team playerThe preferred qualifications for this position include:- Bachelors degree or equivalent industry experienceC.H.
