Financial Reporting Analyst
Global Fortune Company seeks a financial reporting analyst. Role requires a strong understanding of accounting and GAAP. Functions include assisting with: compilation and analysis of financial information, development of integrated analyses, projections, reports, and presentations, creation and analyses of period reports, and ensuring financial information has been recorded accurately, identification of trends and developments, financial forecasting, reconciliation of internal accounts, preparation of accruals for financial statements. Requires excellent communications skills - up, down and lateral in organization - including management presentations. Must interface and communicate with business, technical and contracts executives. Must work well with others. Focus on playing integral role on a newly formed team, while integrating into larger F&A group. Basic Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance, 1-2 years experience in Accounting or Finance, staff accountant a plus. Requires strong analytical skills and attention to detail. SAP experience a plus. Exceptional personal computer and business solutions software skills; advanced knowledge of excel (VLookup, Pivot tables, formula nesting for functions, macros), Access (queries), accounting principles and written communication skills. Candidate should be open to potential, future relocation-promotion opportunities. Potential candidates should possess an advanced knowledge of Excel and familiarity of Access.
