Location:US-NJ-Secaucus Job Number:SEC0000T Employee Status : Regular Job Type :Experienced Schedule : Full-time Description The Associate Director Enterprise Operational Services directs the technical planning, infrastructure support, and operations of multiple products within the Global Enterprise Operational Services (GEOS) organization. This professional is responsible for strategic systems planning, budgeting, development, and management of the organization and the implementation of technology solutions and systems support projects. This individual oversees and directs large-scale projects for major systems installation and support of hardware, operating systems, software, and networking, from concept to full operation. Responsibilities Direct the continual upgrading of procedures and equipment to maintain currency with technological progress, economic change and business needs. Recommend annual budgets and manage expenditures in order to operate within approved budget guidelines. Set strategic direction for a major functional area within GEOS formulate programs and organizational goals; meet with senior management to define projects and establish overall systems plans; and periodically report and/or present services strategy, issues, and progress to senior management. Ensure that implementation and support efforts are performed according to standards and procedures and Information Technology (IT) departmental and quality assurance requirements. Oversee infrastructure projects for major applications or systems management and ensure that performance and quality objectives are achieved. Consult with departmental directors regarding the development and implementation of forecast plans and strategies. Consult with major Business Units to interpret business requirements, identify and evaluate areas for improvement, and ensure the integration of Business Unit requirements with GEOS strategies. Ensure the training and development of staff members to develop their skills and maintain state-of-the-art knowledge in their area of responsibility. Direct staff members directly or indirectly in the development, implementation, and support of applications to meet the client's business requirements. Be responsible for the selection and performance management of staff members. P2D To qualify, candidates must have: an advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math or a related discipline; or equivalent work experience approximately 10-12 years of related experience strong project management, team development, strategic planning, and budgeting skills excellent judgment, tact, and decision-making ability exceptional management, interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills ability to work and team effectively with clients and other management personnel Ensure the training and development of staff members to develop their skills and maintain state-of-the-art knowledge in their area of responsibility.Direct staff members directly or indirectly in the development, implementation, and support of applications to meet the client's business requirements.Be responsible for the selection and performance management of staff members.
