This position is located at the Hartford Customer Service Group in Horsham, PA.  Our Customer Contact Center supports Sales and Service Operations for AARP Health, providing premier healthcare products for people 50 years of age and older.

 

WHAT ARE THE RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION?

 Support functional areas of the organization, including Operations, Vendor Channel Partners (VCPs), PMO, and IT by providing analytical insight regarding HCSG initiatives (both internal and customer/VCP projects).Perform business and advanced statistical analysis using SAS, Siebel Analytics or other available tools for customer profiling, marketing campaign performance analysis, text mining, operational optimization analysis, and best customer analysis, among others.Utilize analytical results to draw conclusions, identify patterns and new opportunities.Create summary reports and presentations to share with business units, management, customers, and partnersAssist in the development of strategic recommendations and action plans for management.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

 BA/BS in Finance, Economic, Statistics, or Mathematics required. Advanced degree in statistical discipline a plus.3+ years of analytical experience in a business environment.  Healthcare, Insurance or Market Research industry experience is a plus. Demonstrated experience in advanced statistical modeling techniques is required. Multivariate methods are of particular interest. Proven analytical/logical/problem solving skills.Effective self-starter with a “can-do” attitude who takes ownership and accountability for project deliverables with a demonstrated ability to multitask.Ability to work with appropriate Hartford databases and different data formats to identify, extract, and analyze data in a creative and non-routine manner.Must be able to effectively communicate and present insight and results, both orally and in writing, throughout various levels of the organization.Advanced SAS programming skills or proficiency with Base SAS and SAS/STAT. Additional SAS experience with modules such as IML, ETS, etc are desirable.  Proficiency in MS Office software (particularly Excel) required.

 

 

WHAT IS THE COMPENSATION OPPORTUNITY?

 

At the Hartford, our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay competitive base salaries and reward performance. The base salary for this position ranges from $60,000 to $85,000.  In addition, you will be eligible to participate in our comprehensive benefits program including Medical, Dental, Life and Disability Insurance, a 401K Plan, an Employee Stock Purchase Plan, Tuition Reimbursement, Paid time off and paid holidays, plus incentive bonuses and more.
