District Manager - Landscape Maintenance Management
District Manager - in Metro Charlotte, NC
This is a key position in a multi-million dollar major market for the company and requires a high degree of competency in People/Personnel management in the Landscape Maintenance sector.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Horticulture/ Turf and/or Landscape related curriculum with a Minimum of 5 years of operational business experience within the landscape maintenance service industry or the equivalent combination of education and experience in the landscape maintenance service industry.
- Three year’s experience managing a large staff of operations managers and supervisory personnel.
- Must have a strong background in P&L responsibility.
POSITION SUMMARY
- The District Manager has total P&L responsibility for the District. Full responsibility for all functional areas and activities within the Greater Charlotte NC District.
- Implements corporate and division business growth strategies.
- Develops and implements operational improvement strategies.
- Responsible for meeting all run rate and sales targets set by Corporate and Division or the Division President.
- Responsible for delivering high quality service that focuses on client satisfaction and profitable new business opportunities. Performs the following duties personally or through subordinate managers.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES SUMMARY
- Manages subordinate operations personnel and administrative staff within the District and provides leadership to all employees.
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws including interviewing, hiring, orientating, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing employee complaints, resolving problems, and terminating employees.
- Develop and retain a diverse workforce to deliver excellent service and effective leadership in the operation.
