JOB DESCRIPTION:UPS Supply Chain Solutions is currently seeking a District Account Executive to impact the organization by managing the relationship and sales process of District Accounts, including the conversion, penetration, and retention of accounts within a geographic area. A primary duty of this position is to identify, position and expand opportunities for Domestic and International Freight, logistics and small package prospects within accounts. The District Account Executive may be responsible for the following: Development of  complex sales strategies that encompass the customers entire supply chain Development of  multi-level customer relationships to uncover supply chain needs of key decision-makers (i.e., "C" level executives, and Logistics, Operations, Transportation and General Managers) Integration of customized technology solutions to retain and further penetrate client supply chain needs, and coordinate cross functional support with UPS Operations, Finance, Solutions and others to further penetrate opportunities Retention of  accounts while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction which includes responding to customer concerns, developing solutions, providing follow-up on client matters, coordinating contract implementations, and managing customer contractual commitments to ensure compliance Other duties include understanding competitor strategies, products and pricing patterns in order to position UPS SCS products advantageously, developing comprehensive pricing strategies for bundled contracts, and effectively negotiate pricing structures. This position reports to the Area Sales Manager.Job Requirements:  A Bachelors degree is required although equivalent experience relevant to the job may be considered.  Minimum of 2 years of outside sales experience, preferably in transportation and logistics.  Demonstrated prior success in a sales role (meeting a quota), procurement, or supply chain operations, is important. General knowledge of supply chain is preferred. OTHER CRITERIA:Employer will not sponsor visas for position.There is no relocation available for this position.UPS is an Equal Opportunity Employer
