 Responsibilities – and purpose of this jobThe primary responsibility of this position is to growing the existing market share for this freestanding O/P Surgery Center in a highly competitive marketplace, as well as running the facility and developing and implementing new programs.  Additional responsibilities include the following: Overall management and the day-to-day operation of the facility. Licensure and credentialing standards for physicians. Ensuring quality of care delivery. Development of policies and procedures. Hiring and training staff. Capital and operating budgets. The Candidate must have strong business development skills.  Must have come from a freestanding environment where they were responsible at least at the Administrator level.  They will be responsible for growing this program.  Should have a business/marketing background.  Must posses the skill of building relationships with physicians.  Must know marketing and how to go to market with services. Requirements necessary for ideal candidate Bachelor’s degree in finance or a related field. Proven track record in successfully growing a free-standing outpatient surgery center. Three to five years in healthcare management including at least three years marketing an O/P surgery center. Preferred: Bachelors Degree would be in Nursing.
