Director Warehouse Operations

Warehouse Services Director functions as the distribution center of excellence across ConAgra Consumer Foods in providing support to the operations teams; to include WMS functionality, capital planning, project management, standard operating procedure development, crisis/recall management, contract management and strategic direction. This individual will lead a team of warehousing subject matter experts to improve the efficient storage and delivery of product to our customers at the lowest total delivered cost.Position ResponsibilitiesContinually interfaces with transportation, inventory planning, procurement, customer service, and production/merchandise planning, while leading all warehouse services to ensure efficiency and customer satisfaction. Responsible for network design support, recall management, traceability best practices, warehouse layout/design, 3PL contract management, pallet management (CHEP), warehousing reporting, capital budgeting and material handling best practices. The Director of Warehouse Services will provide leadership in all key operational and technical areas to ensure that each operating group meets their budgeted costs and service levels. Additionally the Director will serve as a change leader to drive standardization across each business units where applicable.Position Qualifications Bachelors degree in Business or Supply Chain required. Masters degree preferred. 10+ years experience in supply chain that interface engineering with Distribution operations, inventory management, and warehouse operations including transportation, customers service and S & OP required. 5+ years leadership and team development. Strong finance and systems acumen. Multi layered system environment (SAP, Red Prairie, Manugistics, BPICS) experience a plus. Ability to travel up to 50%. Experience with multiple distribution environments (3rd party dedicated, public, self-managed, etc.) Continuous Improvement/ Zero-loss mindset. Language and Technical Skills requirement: Analytical and problem-solving skills.
