ARAMARK Education provides a complete range of food, facility, uniform and other support services to more than 500 K-12 school districts in the U.S.  It offers public and private education institutions a family of dining and facility services including:  on-site and off-site breakfast and lunch meal programs, after-school snacks, catering, nutrition education, retail design and operations, maintenance, custodial, grounds, energy management, construction management, and building commissioning.  For more information on ARAMARK’s K-12 food service programs, please visit www.aramarkschools.com.Position:  Director, Training and Organizational DevelopmentPurpose:  This position will be responsible for developing and implementing the strategic initiatives that will drive engagement, career and personal development for our employees.  Key Responsibilities: Perform ongoing consultative needs analysis to ensure training and development activities are meeting the business needs of the organization. Develop, review and/or modify training and development programs that enhance/develop the competencies and capabilities of our people.  (on- boarding, soft skills, and K-12 market specific needs)Develop and implement tools and processes (i.e., job profiles, career ladders, and development roadmaps) that support a culture of growth for our people.Manage the annual Talent Review process and create a more integrated approach with how we leverage that data to have proactive understanding of our talent needs (i.e., new business, new markets, etc.). Partner with Talent Acquisition to ensure that we source the right people, for the right jobs at the right time. Drive and lead initiatives that support the North American employee engagement survey, measuring the engagement of our employees and our overall organization effectiveness.Provide strategic partnership in developing ARAMARK Education’s front-line (hourly) employee value proposition, a key lever in growing our business to its greatest potential.Partner with our Service Line Expertise and other subject matter experts Liaison with other LOBs and corporate teams with regard to training and development initiatives to ensure strategic alignment with our Business Purpose.  Reporting: This role reports to the line of business HRVPKey Skills/Experience:  Ability to synthesize business strategy to deliver talent management initiatives Strong project management skills Instructional design and adult education experience Results orientation – outcome driven Influence and impact within the organization and at the senior management level Ability to lead change and role model new behaviors to drive business growth Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Experience influencing a team of Operational and HR professionals Strong training delivery and presentation skills Deep knowledge of MS Office Suite Minimum of 7 years Training & Development and/or HR generalist   Experience within a highly distributed field organization is also preferred
