Location: Job location not provided JobRefCode: 022936 madson Status: Full Time, Employee Job Category: Business/Strategic Management Experience: 7+ to 10 Years       Job Description   SimplexGrinnell is a global leader in the design, manufacture, installation, and service of a comprehensive array of networked and integrated fire alarm and suppression, security, and communications systems.  Our continued success and growth has produced a need for the following position in our Florida region.GENERAL SUMMARY The primary function of this position is to oversee and direct the management and growth of the SimplexGrinnell National Account customer base.  Direct the daily activities of the National Account Managers and Representatives in order to increase solutions and services sales to the existing base.  DUTIES & RESPOSIBILITIES Â·  Develop and implement new sales strategies and programs. Analyze program results and devise alternatives aimed at achieving sales/program objectives.·  Identify and implement sales support tools to enhance marketability of service and system sales.·  Develop a successful National Account Manager (NAM) profile and manage/participate in the selection process.  Monitor progress of NAM’s and adjust selection criteria to meet changing position and market requirements.·  Develop account management training programs aimed at improving the techniques and effectiveness on how SimplexGrinnell can maintain a Customer For Life. Modify and/or create new processes and programs to address current and future market conditions.·  Provide on-site support to NAM’s and representatives regarding the sales process to include customer visits and closing the sale.·  Work in concert with District and Region Management, as well as, the National Account Support Center to provide exceptional customer service leading to increasing volume and margin levels.·  Hire, transfer, terminate or affect other personnel actions for subordinate employees.  Set goals and objectives for subordinates, communicate expectations to employees, and periodically review subordinate’s performance.  Identify areas of improvement and implement necessary development and training programs or other appropriate actions.  Responsible for assisting in meeting equal employment opportunity/ affirmative action program goals and objectives.  Abide by Federal, State and local laws and regulations, as well as company policies and programs.  Maintain and enhance a positive and supportive work environment, which eliminates the causes and/or perceived need for outside third-party intervention.·  Perform other duties as directed. QUALIFICATIONS Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a business/technical discipline Experience:  Ten years experience in managing high performing sales and managers, focused on customer retention, rapid sales growth and increasing margins.  Special Skills:  Must have exceptional written and oral communication skills. Proven leadership ability in a sales environment; the ability to effectively communicate and close a sale; and must have effective presentation skills.
