EEO/M/F/D/VThe Director, New Sales is a senior sales position and is responsible to analyze, develop, implement and grow new sales and revenue channels. This role is responsible for the generation of incremental gift card revenues through existing and new channels that include New Account Acquisition, New Sales Channel Partners, Business to Business/Corporate Gift Card Sales, Open/Limited Open Gift Card Programs and other opportunities as identified. In order to secure new revenue opportunities, this position must assess and analyze markets and opportunities and align them with SVS gift card capabilities plus pursue viable market opportunities and define sales channels. They will also develop cross functional business plans for new strategic accounts, channels, and markets including revenue, costs and internal and external support requirements.REQUIREMENTS:Candidates must have 7+ years experience in process selling or gift card experience in open and/or closed environments. This experience could include: closed and open loop gift card industry, prepaid card industry, corporate incentives industry and/or other retail related markets. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required. Contacts in the gift/stored value and incentive sales arena are helpful. Candidates must possess an excellent level of personal organizational including excellent oral/written communication skills. Must be able to identify and engage senior executives from prospective clients in the sales process. They must have the ability to conduct sales calls and presentations to audiences of 10 or more people plus show strong product development, sales and management attributes. Must be detail oriented with the ability to handle multiple assignments promptly and effectively. Must demonstrate the ability to work calmly in a fast-paced environment while effectively managing multiple opportunities and projects.
