This role will define, develop and grow the customer communications function to enable the North American business to achieve its strategic priorities and drive corporate-wide change management efforts.   This role will employ strategies that help drive a high-performance culture through consistent, efficient and effective customer communications.   This role directly designs, manages and executes a strategic plan that includes the following key responsibilities:   Define and evangelize customer communications function within a matrixed organization. Deeply understand customer pains and insights and translate them into compelling, and relevant strategies that improve customer experience, loyalty and penetration. Design and implement a proactive outreach program to customers that improves customer experience and loyalty Increase opportunities for cross-selling through customer communication strategies Inventory, centralize and streamline current customer communication efforts including development of a central database of customer-facing materials Optimize internal communication channels to better support customer communication Act as customer communication lead on crisis communication team   This role requires collaboration with marketing, sales, and all levels of account management to design and implement an efficient communication stream to Iron Mountain customers. Job Requirements: 7-10 years experience as a senior manager in a marketing/PR function with a focus on customer communication. Management/leadership experience with a Fortune 1000 company with multiple divisions, services and employee groups. Outstanding proven written and oral communication skills. Demonstrated leadership competencies to influence senior management and effect change. Ability to identify, build and maintain effective relationships with senior levels of management and other key stakeholders. Ability to both develop strategy and drive execution. Ability to handle multiple projects/roles in an evolving environment. Proven ability to develop and execute results-driven communications strategies that are aligned with business goals and objectives. Ability to create and implement internal communications to support change. Dedication to quality and innovative thinking. Bachelor's or Masters degree in communications or related field is preferred.
