Data Entry Specialist(s)

Data Entry Specialists to perform data analysis, document and quality reviews, on-line data entry support and may make recommendations for revisions to user documentation.  Analysts will compare electronically submitted and hard copy source documents with database to verify data.  This includes reading investigative reports and various other source documents, analyze and evaluate information in the documents and extract data from the source document to be entered into the data base.  Specialists will use an electronic access data base and make required annotations on electronic documents, update database and resolve report ambiguities using policy and reference manuals.  Perform on-line creations of new records, update and verification of existing records to correct errors of previously entered data as well as perform verification of the accuracy of semi-automated duplicate record merger printouts.  Data Entry Specialists shall process specialized categories of source documents and take appropriate measures to complete the verification of textual inconsistencies, file titles and file references.

Qualifications

Must have minimum High School Diploma, Bachelor’s degree preferred

1 to 3 years experience in computer data processing/environment

Must have excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills and be detail oriented

Proficient in MS Word and type 55-60 wpm

 

Must be a US Citizen and satisfactorily meet requirements of National Agency 7-10 year background investigation.
