Data Archiving / Storage Engineer (SAP)

We are looking for Storage practitioners who can work in a team environment and contribute to client delivery and business development. Primary responsibilities:Act as a Storage Subject Matter Consultant in client engagements Contribute to the development of storage/ILM based solutions and deliverables in areas such as SRM, SAN, NAS, data classification, and data protection Contribute to the design and implementation of SRM architectures based on single and multi-vendor platforms Lead technical discussion with clients related storage management and architectureDesign and Architect storage solutions Assist in business development opportunities and work aggressively to grow our ILM and Storage solutions Requirements: Must have 4+ years of experience in Storage Management/Administration practices and solutions2+ years experience implementing data archiving in an SAP ECC 6.0 environmentMust have 4+ years of experience utilizing various Enterprise Data Protection products like Symantec Veritas NetBackup, EMC Legato Networker, HP Data Protector (Omni Back), and Tivoli Storage Manager Preferred Experience:4+ years of experience with any of the following vendor products: EMC Symmetrix/DMX/Clarion, NetApp, Hitachi, Sun StorEdge and HP Series Storage hardware. 4+ years of experience with Storage and Tape Library solutions (Virtualization is a plus) 4+ years of experience with Business continuity and Disaster Recovery solutions and practices 4+ years of experience with different clustering technologies 4+ years of experience with Services Management or Service Desk platforms (HP OpenView, Tivoli, CA Unicenter, etc.) 4+ years of experience in operational processes design and improvement methodologies (e.g. ITIL, Six Sigma) Previous professional consulting experience required.Previous professional experience with Netapps or IBM storage tools also a plus.Unix experience a plus.BearingPoint is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, national origin, religion, color, gender, sexual orientation, age, non-disqualifying physical or mental disability or any other basis covered by law.
