Customer Support

Position Summary:

EDI Customer Support initiates, completes and maintains EDI connections, resolves issues, and provides training to customers using DiCentral’s Web services.

Essential Functions:

1. Setup and maintain EDI trading partner relationships.

2.  Train customers to use their DiCentral Web account.

3.  Coordinate testing of new EDI connections.

4.  Resolve technical issues related to DiCentral Web services.

Other Functions:

1.  Maintain EDI partner setup procedures.

2.  Work with the EDI mapping team in upgrading EDI maps.

Education and Skills Requirements:

Education: Associates Degree or equivalent work experience.

Experience:

1. Minimum 2-4 years customer support, office management, or supply chain/logistics.

2. Technical background preferred.

3.  Six months EDI experience a plus.

Skills:

1. Communication- Verbal and written, articulate and professional, good grammar

2.  Must be self-managing, assertive, and a problem solver.  Able to plan, follow-up, and complete tasks. 

3.  Proficient in using Windows operating system and Microsoft Internet Explorer.4.  Familiarity with Outlook and common Microsoft Office applications.
