Customer Service Associate - Series 6

Description:This position is located in Albany, NY. There is No Relocation Assistance provided.The incumbent will be on a telephone queue assisting advisors and clients with service questions and transactions related to Life, Disability and Annuity products. Requests for account transaction and maintenance servicing are received via telephone and mail correspondence. They include, but are not limited to, requests for surrenders, loans, cancellations, general correspondence, tax reporting, billing changes, beneficiary changes, allocation changes, fund transfers, ownership changes, etc.Qualifications:-Knowledge of Annuity and Life Products or the ability to be trained on these items -Organization, time management and data entry skills-Outstanding customer service in a time-sensitive manner-Ability to process detail-oriented material measured by accuracy and productivity standards -Experience working with mainframe systems and PC software applications-Effective communication, listening and telephone skills-Team player attitude and ability to work under pressure-Willingness to participate in quality and process improvement activities-Strong analytical and problem solving skills-Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively-Ability to work well with a team and independently-Availability to work overtime as needed-Series 6 license (or ability to obtain within 90 days)Salary/Benefits: Salary commensurate with experienceJob Location: Albany, NYJob Number: 76760Company URL: http://joinameriprise.com/careers/Company Profile:Ameriprise Financial has more than 110 year history as a leading provider of financial services.
