Cost/Pricing Director

Position Description:

Duties:

o Performs business and management tasks in the area of Pricing.

o Performs competitive bid analyses and sets price to win o Prepares complex pricing proposals in response to customer requests for proposals.

o Directly interfaces with technical personnel, especially solution leads.

o Works with Capture Manager and Vice President to formulate of pricing strategy.

o Works with customer and Account Manager to understand customer needs/requirements o Analyzes estimates of labor, material, equipment, and other direct costs.

o Actively participates on proposal teams for new business opportunities.

o Requires a creative thinker to align strategic goals of clients with those of corporation o Ensures the timely generation of pricing submissions and compliance with internal solicitation requirements and established review / approval process, including working directly with finance approval chain o Utilizes overall knowledge of company bid-rate structure to complete assignments within extremely tight and strict proposal schedules.

o Assumes responsibility for the preparation of a fully compliant and competitive cost and pricing volume, establishing and coordinating schedules, cost/price model development, and cost narrative.

o Interacts effectively with internal and external clients in the best interests of the corporation.

o Exercises discretion and independent judgment in support of pricing matters.

o Elevates issues in a timely manner and coordinates resolution.

o Attends corporate meetings as required.

o Performs other duties as assigned.

o This role requires approximately 75% travel.

o Base location is flexible - Qualified candidate can work from anywhere, however travel is required.



Description Must Have:

o Requires BS/BA degree in Business related field, CPA, CFA, MBA a plus o Requires 10+ years in total business/finance experience with current 3+ years experience in Deal Financial Architecture including client facing negotiation experience.



Description Nice To Have:

o Experience working large and/or complex opportunities o Possesses and applies expertise in matters of proposal preparation.

o Writes effective, clear, concise correspondence.

o Proficiency in Microsoft Office

o Must be comfortable developing large, complex spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel.

o Experience in all types of contracts (T&M, CPAF, CPFF, FFP) is preferred o Mergers & Acquisitions or M&A Experience preferred
