Robbins-Gioia is currently recruiting for the following position: Senior Cost/Risk Estimator.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
-- 8-10 years of software cost estimating experience, including parametric, bottom up, analogy, and/or cost estimation relationship (CER) usage.
-- Expertise with one or more of the following tools: COCOMO II, SEER SEM, TruePlanning, ACEIT, or SLIM.
-- Ability to develop probability distributions to model various types of uncertainty.
-- Ability to perform uncertainty analyses using Monte Carlo simulation and develop risk adjusted costs.
-- Ability to perform sensitivity analyses as needed.
-- Ability to determine software size using function point or feature point analysis is a definite plus.
-- Familiarity with the standard Software Development Life Cycle.
-- A bachelor degree in a related field such as economics or finance (Masters preferred).

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Senior level cost and risk estimator will develop and brief independent software cost and risk estimates to senior government personnel. These estimates will be used as Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCEs) for a multi-year, multi-billion dollar federal information technology project, and also form the basis of the project's life cycle cost estimate. Successful applicants need significant experience in software development cost estimation and must be able to work independently and in a team environment to develop various Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCEs) and Life Cycle Cost Model (LCCM).
Extensive experience in all facets of cost development including parametric, bottom up, analogy, cost estimation relationship (CER) usage desired. Need to have expertise in one or more of the following tools: COCOMO II, SEER SEM, TruePlanning, ACEIT, SLIM.
