Controller - Private Service Company (5-7M)

This position is reporting directly into the president.Primary Position Accountabilities: • Prepare, review, and input journal entries and prepare extensive account reconciliation • Accounting System: Quickbooks • Process month-end and year-end closing • Analyze financial results for budget variances and exceptional trends • Assist with acquisitions including due diligence • Generate and format reports for owner and external CPA • Prepare and maintain financial and operational reports • Interact with internal departments to compile financial data • Initiate problem resolution and process flow improvements • Maintain quality results in a fast-paced, high-volume environmentDesired Qualifications/Background: • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from an accredited college or university • Five years related experience in accounting or finance within a small company (5-20M) • Proficient with operating a computer and Microsoft Office Products, specifically Excel, Access and Word • Ability to read, analyze and interpret financial reports, regulations and legal documents • Ability to communicate effectively, professionally and respectfully with all levels of employees throughout the organization. • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from associates, senior management and branch personnel. • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. • Be proactive in identifying, resolving and communicating issues • Ability to work effectively both as a team member and with little or no supervision • Must be able to efficiently and effectively handle multiple and shifting priorities • Ability to maintain confidentialityFor prompt and confidential consideration, all resumes must be e-mailed directly to joseph.aguilar@parkerlynch.com .
