Recognized as the 8th largest software developer and 15th largest IT employer in the Washington, DC area - INDUS is excited to announce an opportunity for a Contracts/Subcontracts Administrator in Vienna, Virginia, to be an intrinsic part of business success supporting various IT and services contracts administering the business relationships with customers as well as team members. This position requires individuals with private sector and large business experience in government contracting, as well as an entrepreneurial flair and strict ethical conduct. • Perform cradle to grave contract/subcontract administration.
• Provides contractual guidance to operations and management.
• Function as a primary point of contact with government contracting officer and prime contractor contracting representatives.
• Negotiates and finalizes contract documents with government contracting officers and prime contractor contracting representatives to ensure consistency with the solicitation and proposal.
• Manages contract change control process.
• Provides authoritative guidance to internal business teams on contract activity.
• Have a general understanding of the business case and an appreciation of financial/analytical issues and profit and loss implications.
• Review and compile representations and certifications.
• Performs pricing on less complex proposals/task orders.
• Issues, reviews, negotiates and executes non-disclosure agreements and teaming agreements.
• Maintains tracking database of active contracts and orders. Assist with contract close out.
• May assist in new business pursuit and associated contract strategy.
• Reviews complex solicitations and prepares specialized and/or non-routine response for proposals, bids, and contract modifications. Also may prepare complex requests for proposals.
• Analyzes significant, and/or unique contract requirements, special provisions, terms and conditions to ensure compliance with appropriate laws, regulations, and corporate policies and business unit procedure.
• May participate in development of less complex business alliances and partnering agreements.

REQUIRED:
• Bachelor's Degree
• Familiarity with all contract types (FFP, T&M, CPFF, CPIF, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of procurement practices and procedures
• Broad familiarity with government contracting principals and acquisition process.
• Effective communicator, able to respond quickly with thorough research and options, and be prepared to present business case scenarios.
• Familiarity with MS Office suite.


DESIRED:
• Costpoint highly desirable.
