Contracts Administrator

 

UEC Electronics, LLC (UEC) provides comprehensive product design, integration, and fabrication services including: hardware, software, and mechanical engineering; rapid prototyping; and a broad range of product assembly and test.  UEC serves the military, heavy-duty automotive, industrial and commercial markets.  Our product mix includes electronic controls, vehicle integration, test systems, power distribution, control panels, circuit card assembly, cable assembly, and complex electro-mechanical devices.

UEC is currently recruiting for two experienced Material Handler/Buyers.

This person will assist with purchasing, negotiating materials, equipment and supplies. This person will also evaluate supplier quotes and services, as well as ensure compliance with the internal control process. He/She should rely on limited experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals to perform a variety of tasks. He/She will work under general supervision and will report to the Materials Manager.

The ideal candidate should have 1 to 3 years of relevant previous experience as a buyer in a manufacturing environment. Candidates must be able to multi-task, be proficient with MS Office & other general computer skills, and be able to work on a team and/or independently. The candidate should be familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.

To be considered for employment with UEC, the candidate must be willing to undergo a background screening as well as be eligible to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance, both interim and final.
