We were hoping to find someone with prior consumer loan experience in the areas of loan originations, underwriting, processing, funding, fraud analysis, and risk mitigation. There will be some additional elements added in the very near future which would require the processor to maintain an audit capacity overseeing other companies that will be providing loan verifications processes to our firm. We have some joint ventures that recently materialized which will require our oversight of the procedures being followed by these other entities. This process will be conducted remotely from our office via internet connectivity. We would prefer a candidate with strong Excel skills, Outlook, and internet experience. The candidate will also have responsibility of interfacing with our billing companies and client companies that provide us with the consumer loans which we purchase. We would certainly consider comparable mortgage industry experience and a degree is not mandatory for this position. Within Company guidelines the Loan Processor will perform the following duties:• Perform phone verifications with consumers • Verify loan documents to ensure balances and consumer signatures are in order • Pull credit reports as necessary • Verify loan documentation for our Underwriting team • Perform daily filing and other duties in the process of supporting our Underwriting DepartmentQualifications: • Attention to detail, analytical and communication skills • Demonstrated customer service skills and excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal • Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with good organizational skills • Be goal-oriented with the ability to meet deadlines • PC skills – especially Microsoft Excel are required • Prior loan processing/collections experience preferred • Self-starters mandatory Want to interview today?
