Compensation Analyst Summary
Our client, a Fortune 100 company is seeking a Compensation Analyst for a contract to hire position.
Complete Compensation Analyst Job DescriptionManage the monthly commission process to ensure timely and accurate payments.
Duties include, but will not be limited to:Running reports to gather transaction dataObtaining pertinent information from other departments such as Sales, Asset Management, and FinanceCalculating earned commissionsResolving discrepancies and payment issuesRequesting payment approvals from managementSubmitting commission payments to Payroll for processingAnswering manager and employee inquiriesManage the quarterly and annual bonus processes to ensure timely and accurate payments. The aforementioned duties listed monthly commission process duties will also apply. Assist with the revision and development of commissions and bonus plans to ensure business goals and objectives are met, external competitiveness, and ease of administration. Maintain all commissions and bonus plan documents, employee acknowledgments, and other related records. Assist with automating effortsAssist with the Merit and General Increase programs.
Duties include, but not limited to:Evaluating labor rate changesProjecting, monitoring, and reporting on program costsCalculating paymentsCreating manager and employee communicationsSubmitting payments to Payroll for processingAnswering manager and employee inquiriesAssist with the development of roles.
Duties include, but not limited to:Performing job evaluations/analysisCreating job descriptionsConducting external salary surveys and internal salary reviewsEstablishing compensation structuresEstablish and administer other rewards and recognition programs.Perform other duties as assigned.
Terms
Work Hours: Monday to Friday 8 am to 5 pm / 1 hour lunch
Dress: Business casual

Essential Compensation Analyst Skills & CharacteristicsA Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, Mathematics, or Business Administration or three years of analytics experience in Finance, Accounting, or Human Resources areasMinimum of two years experience with calculating commissions and bonus paymentsExcellent analytical, organizational, and follow-up skillsProficient in MS Excel, Word, and OutlookStrong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to work with people at all levels of the organizationAttention to detail and ability to work in a confidential manner is a mustDemonstrated ability to work independently, take initiative, and perform effectively in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment
