College Textbook Publishing Senior Sales Specialist

Our client is one of the largest and most respected educational publishing companies in America. They have asked us to locate a new Senior Sales Specialist to mentor and assist the territorial sales reps who sell a full line of textbooks and other class materials to professors at colleges and universities in Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky and Tennessee. Working with these reps in their established territories with a large base of existing accounts with which our client has already developed strong rapport, you will assist them in making technology presentations and closing the largest adoptions.   The ideal candidate will have a 4-year degree and 3-5 years of successful sales experience in the college publishing field with strong presentation skills, as well as the ability to travel overnight up to 30%. Candidates without college publishing sales experience cannot be considered for this position and should not bother to apply.The successful candidate can expect to earn $87-100K or more the first year, based on a starting salary of $52-65K (possibly higher depending upon experience) plus an annual bonus that adds an $35K per year at goal, but could be even higher based on personal performance.
