Collection Specialist

Growing company in Newport Beach is hiring for Collection Specialist / AR Specialist!

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: The job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Monitor all collection activities and administer a portfolio of assigned accounts. Process Collections and minimize delinquent receivables. Resolve payment discrepancies Provide the customer with necessary documentation, in the format required, in order to support the collection. Identify root cause for delinquency, raise issue or eliminate cause. Process adjustments to accounts as needed Reconcile accounts Assist in opening, reviewing and updating accounts. Assist with the preparation of required reports for management. Other projects and duties as assigned such as filing, mailing invoices and statements. Multi-tasking and a positive attitude is a must.





REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL: High School degree required. Some college coursework in business, accounting and finance preferred.

EXPERIENCE: One or more years of collection experience

SKILLS:Experience required in Excel and Word. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work in a team based environment. Apply good judgment and professional integrity in decision making Ability to prioritize projects and assignments
