Case Assistant
LECG is currently seeking a Case Assistant to work in its Salt Lake City, UT office. The Case Assistant will work with project teams providing administrative support to our professional services practices.
Major Task, Duties and Responsibilities
Create, maintain and audit electronic documents, spreadsheets and databasesCreate and maintain electronic library, perform searches and retrieve documents as requestedMaintain working files and off-site storage filingEnter time and expenses and maintain accounting recordsPrepare word processing projects, proofread and distribute documentsCoordinate and prepare client presentations, charts and graphsEnter basic case information into database, prepare, proofread and revise case materialsAssist with invoicing process and review client pre-billsArrange conference calls and meetings for staff and clientsPerform administrative duties such as photocopying, faxing, filing and sending correspondencePerform general administrative and clerical duties as needed
Requirements
An Associate's degree or a combination of education and experience is preferredStrong organizational skills, attention to detail and commitment to qualityStrong knowledge of MS Word and ExcelExperience with databases and PowerPoint desirableStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and set prioritiesCommitment to task and ability to work well under pressure and time constraintsAbility to seek direction from different sources and varying management stylesAbility to work independently as well as in a teamAbility to solve problems and exhibit good judgmentExperience in a consulting or legal environment desirable
