Location:US-OH-Cleveland Job Number:CLE0002B Employee Status : Regular Job Type :Experienced Schedule : Full-time Description The Campus Recruiting Coordinator is responsible for planning and executing the recruiting strategy. The Campus Recruiting Coordinator will also support an Ernst & Young recruiting Business Unit (BU) in various customer service aspects of the recruiting process specific to campus recruiting. This position supports recruiters with coordinating and managing candidate interviews, and provides services to candidates and recruiting personnel in other aspects of the recruiting process including event planning (i.e. campus activities, job fairs and internship program activities). This role requires internal and external facing relationships at the campus level. ResponsibilitiesAssist in the development and execution of the campus recruiting strategy including identifying creative approaches to campus recruiting. Participate in the candidate selection and relationship building process. Liaise with campus Career Services Office; manage communications. Group candidates for on-campus interview schedules. Organize and execute final candidate selection process and communications. Plan and manage the office visit process, including office visit troubleshooting. Determine interviewer lists for campus group office visits. Plan and execute campus events, and Internship and Summer Leadership programs. Liaise with Client Service Teams. Maintain firmwide online calendar of campus events. Liaise with national marketing and branding for strategy and messaging. Develop specific branded collateral for specific area/practice needs. Manage recruiting merchandise (including display panels). Become proficient in the firm's recruiting tool in order to update candidate status after an on-campus interview. Become proficient in the firm's event planning tool and other recruiting databases. Assist with the validation of Form I-9 documentation and collection of new hire documentation. Analytical and Decision Making ResponsibilitiesThe Campus Recruiting Coordinator works closely with client serving teams and builds relationships to develop and drive strategy. They also provide just in time support (i.e. last minute cancellations, rescheduling) for campus recruiting events and office visits, including on-site logistical issues. Last minute cancellations may occur during campus recruiting events, the Recruiting Coordinator is responsible for working with recruiters and groups to maintain relationships and make necessary adjustments. The Campus Recruiting Coordinator reports directly to Business Unit People Team Leader and the Campus Recruiting Leader. The Campus Recruiting Coordinator acts independently on various customer-service aspects of the campus recruiting process. This includes but is not limited to developing and managing event budgets and activities for college recruiting, Internship and Summer Leadership Programs, maintaining relationships with vendors and schools and responsive telephone and email communication follow-up with candidates. The Campus Recruiting Coordinator interacts with campus recruiters on a daily basis to plan and execute strategy, identify priorities and provide status. Travel may be required for specific events. To qualify, candidates must have: an associate or bachelor's degree in related discipline or equivalent work experience approximately 1-2 years of experience preferred; Human Resources or recruiting-related experience a plus proficiency with Lotus Notes and experience with recruiting information/applicant tracking systems a plus effective writing and speaking skills exceptional customer service focus, including attention to producing quality results strong communication, interpersonal, teamwork and organizational skills ability to work efficiently and effectively, while maintaining attention to detail ability to work with professionals in other offices and promote teamwork flexibility to accommodate different personalities and professional work styles strong project management skills proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word and ExcelKnowledge and Skills Create and implement the strategy; take appropriate actions in supporting the strategy such as advocating appropriate choices, and winning widespread commitment from others Strive for excellence; attention to detail in times of change and deliver goals even under uncertainties and difficulties Build rapport and leverage networks; be sensitive to power relationships and forge personal connections through a genuine and meaningful approach making a lasting impression Maintain professional expertise; build functional and/or technical knowledge and skills necessary for a high level of accomplishment Collect and interpret information; the ability to collect, evaluate and use information to enhance client services Contribute knowledge; ability to play a full part in managing and promoting knowledge throughout Ernst & Young by using systems and personal networks to share, record and capitalize on knowledge Understand the business; ability to explore and understand the key drivers affecting Ernst & Young and our clients within the broader business environment
