Business Service Specialists have a passion and commitment for our salon’s overall operations success. They partner with existing and new franchisees, salon managers, and salon teams by providing coaching, consultation, and training ensuring the proper implementation and compliance with the delivery of the Great Clips operating system and the brand within the salons. Their exciting focus is to improve salon performance and operational efficiency within their assigned market. Responsibilities:Utilize appropriate Great Clips tools and resources to provide service and support that will ensure operational compliance by conducting salon visits for each salon and communicate results using the standard forms Partner with franchisee owners and salon managers within assigned markets to ensure improved performance and growth. Provide coaching and development for salon managers to ensure they are receiving specific feedback and are provided with tools and resources to support continued growth of the salon Provide guidance to franchisee owners and salon managers when new salons open in the territory to help ensure successful openings. Complete new salon checklists prior to the salon opening and attend new salon openings, assisting in every way possible. Manage assigned market budgets throughout the year to ensure goals are met. Requirements:Two years post high school business or equivalent education. Four years of retail management experience in a multi-unit/territory role. Experience with new store openings required. Strong business and financial acumen. Knowledge of retail operations, including marketing, training, operations, real estate and construction. Strong ability to analyze/ interpret data (cash flow, P&L, budgets, etc.) and recommend strategies for salon performance improvement. Documented success in maximizing operational efficiency. Experience in the franchise industry a plus. Ability to effectively and consistently deliver coaching, consulting, and training using the Great Clips operating systems. Ability to establish credibility and communicate effectively with all levels of team members both verbally and in writing. Strong coaching skills with the ability to help individuals understand problems, goals, and various courses of action. Ability to self manage an intensive travel schedule (50-75% of time) and work a flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends. Ability to lift up to 20 pounds. Intermediate user of Word, Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and Web. Valid Driver’s License along with personal vehicle. We offer a superior total compensation package along with many extra perks.
