Business Operations Leader for Advisory Technology Management (ATM) - - Cleveland OH

Location:US-OH-Cleveland Job Number:CLE0002J Employee Status : Regular Job Type :Experienced Schedule : Full-time Description Ernst & Young has an excellent, Cleveland OH based opportunity for a seasoned Business Operations Leader to oversee departmental operational activities to drive efficiency and consistency while maintaining quality standards for software products used by our Assurance and Advisory practices. The individual will be seen as the COO to the leader of the Global AABS Technology Management (ATM) team (currently 40+ people). Key activities conducted in this role will include the following: bull; Manage the maintenance, enhancement, training, and monitoring of the ATM Product Management Methodology. bull; Provide focused coaching across ATM on the proper usage of the methodology within active projects. bull; Manage budget activities including annual submission, forecasting and quarterly monitoring to ensure the team operates within the approved budget. bull; Manage monthly team status reporting processes and meetings to address escalated issues bull; Determine agenda and create materials for leadership meetings with key stakeholders including Global AABS leadership, Global IT leadership. bull; Continuously review resourcing needs and thereafter reassign existing resources, determine role descriptions for additional resources and drive recruitment activities with HR. bull; Manage process for scorecards and service level agreements with Assurance and Advisory leadership to ensure we are achieving targets on our service offering to our customers. bull; Manage the relationship with Global IT to ensure their effectiveness as a supplier of IT services is as expected through their Customer Relationship Manager. bull; Own People processes including induction, training and counseling to ensure team members continue to advance their skills and the team adheres to the firm's performance management guidance and policies. bull; Continuously consider the long-term direction of ATM to ensure the department is aligned to the business and therefore predicting change in the team's organization structure, service offering and resourcing. To qualify, candidates must have: Education : 4 year degree in a related discipline An advanced degree and/or certifications are seen as a plus, but not mandatory Experience : 10+ years of experience in an operational/COO role Strong leadership skills including ability to be strategic, creative, exercise tact and judgment, identify risks and make decisions Strong organization and program management skills including budgeting, planning, resource management and status reporting. Good recruitment experience including skills identification and interviewing. Strong interpersonal skills including communication and facilitation. Strong team management skills including coaching, counseling and mentoring. Location The role will be based in Cleveland and will not involve travel.
