Business Development Representative - Referrals

The Referral Business Development Representative directly generates revenue by selling products and services to new and current users via telephone contact. This is an inside sales role, handling both outbound and inbound calls. The majority of calls will be either warm leads or referred business from our partner banks, selling to bank officers.


• Sells new accounts (referred by our bank partners) to achieve or exceed assigned revenue objectives.
• Sells through telephone contact (both outbound and inbound) with prospective customers.
• Remains knowledgeable of company's products to facilitate sales efforts.
• Maintains sales records and prepares sales reports as required.
• Provides follow-up with customers to ensure customer satisfaction with products and/or services provided.


Requirements
• At least 2 years of experience in an inside sales role, telephone sales role, relationship management or telemarketing role.
• Previous experience in business to business sales.
• Effective selling, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Previous experience in banking, finance or merchant services would be a bonus, but is not essential as full training will be given to the right candidate.


 

Education:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in sales or relationship management.
