Sales/Retail/Business Development Career Level: Experienced (Non-Manager) Location: 43068 Status: Full Time, Employee Relevant Work Experience: 5+ to 7 Years Job Description Business Development Manager-Office Chan The primary responsibility of the Office Reseller Business Development Manager position is to work closely with the Office Reseller Channel to uncover new opportunities to sell Kodak DI software and hardware solutions. By working to uncover end user opportunities, supporting the Kodak Sales Managers in their sales efforts, the Office Reseller BDM will help the US Region to achieve/exceed sales goal. Additional responsibilities include development and execution of the Office Reseller "Go To Market Strategy", establish Kodak as the PREFERRED SUPPLIER of Document Imaging products in Office Reseller accounts, which include companies like IKON, Danka, Pitney Bowes, and other prominent Regional Office Resellers . Other responsibilities include competitive manufacturer Office Channel strategy input, feedback into product management to help develop products and services that meet customer requirements, navigating the Office Reseller corporate hierarchy, establish and develop how to buy procedures, help the CSMs and SAMs establish relationship and contacts within the Regional offices, and provide accurate sales forecasts to management. This position requires 50-75% travel time working with customers and working various marketing events. Minimum Required Skills / Qualifications: 3-5 years of experience within the Document Imaging market. Demonstrated understanding of the Office Reseller Channel including their markets and products. Industry Designations or Certifications CDIA, ECMp etc Account development and group sales management skills Ability to effectively communicate with Office Reseller Corporate personnel at the C level and below Must have the ability to develop and execute individual and team sales plans Willingness to travel across US territory as needed to accomplish business objectives Excellent presentation skills to small and large audiences Self-starter with ability to work independently Ability to work effectively as a team player Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills Direct end user sales experience in addition to channel management experience Excellent computer skills with MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint Familiarity with Kodak document scanners Familiarity with broad range of non-Kodak document scanning technology
