Responsibilities:Are you a driven, smart sales executive who can THINK BIG to develop new and existing business? If this sounds like you, we currently have a Business Development Associate opportunity available in our Brighton/Watertown/Brookline/Allston, MA territory. In this position the right candidate will… • Implement sales strategy and ensure the company meets revenue and profit objectives through targeted prospecting of mid-size and large accounts • Call on the decision-makers within accounts and schedule face-to-face contact with prospective buyers • Manage the transition of new accounts to designated Account Managers • Develop new business primarily through in-person contacts, phone follow-up, and presentationsQualifications:• College degree preferred • Minimum of 2 to 3 years plus of successful sales experience • Proven self-starter with energy and motivation to find, develop and close sales leads • Must be results oriented and driven by both financial and career opportunities • Knowledge of products, pricing, competition and sales objectives • Strong time management skills a must • Knowledge of offset print, digital copy and promotional items a plusStaples offers a competitive compensation and benefit package including: salary, monthly commissions, monthly travel allowance, a restricted stock program, medical and dental benefits, 401(k) with matching contributions, employee stock purchase program and the opportunity to advance, earning higher commissions.
