Unique 3/4 time Business Development opportunity--Direct Hire-BellevueYoung, growing and internationally recognized leadership development / training firm with a unique communication philosophy is seeking a poised Business Development Specialist to develop long-term sales relationships with educational and non-profit organizations. This company is mission driven to change the world, one conversation at a time, and this role will introduce the tools to do so. This position is newly created to manage successful growth efforts while continuing to drive new revenue streams and executing sales. Qualifications:* Three+ years sales experience, preferably selling to educational organizations and nonprofit agencies. Experience in a global market would be a plus.* A stable work history and track record of personal sales performance is essential. You must have a consultative sales background and demonstrate skills in relationship-based sales, building solid pipelines, working a forecast, actively prospecting, and driving opportunities to closure while exhibiting personal integrity. Very strong verbal and written communications skills are essential; must be able to create and deliver compelling sales presentations.* Personal communication style to match company culture & philosophy: relationship-focused, direct and honest, with a positive attitude. * BA/BS in business or related field or equivalent experience required.
