Manager of Billing Analytics

TMG Health offers Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) services to the Medicare, Medicaid and retiree health plan market and provides operational outsourcing solutions and information systems for health plans, providers and insurers. We are currently seeking an experienced Billing Analytics Manager for our operations center located in Dunmore. This position will plan and directs analysis and reconciliation of client financial reporting for the billing, claims, and capitation operational concentrations. This position will conduct training and guides data analysis under the billing concentration as an effort to continually improve billing processing and reconciliation

 

Principal Duties of Position:Consults with client and TMG business unit management and personnel to identify and document financial reporting business needs and objectives, current operational procedures, problems with input and output requirements, scope, and usage.Assists in the development and analysis of new financial reports and interfaces and prepares pseudo mapping documents between client and TMG systems.Provides technical assistance in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures for financial reporting.Consults and coordinates with system analysts and programmers to design and develop automated financial business systems.Consults and coordinates with testing unit to validate and audit new or modified financial reports, interfaces, and processing procedures.Coordinates work of others to develop, test, install, and modify financial reports, interfaces, and billing operation.Tracks and documents changes to functional and business requirements related to financial reporting.Creates or assists others in the writing of user documentation, instructions, and procedures.Monitors and documents post-implementation problems and revision requests for financial reports and interfaces.Oversees daily, weekly, and monthly review, reconciliation, and audit of client prepared financial reports and interfaces.Coordinates with operations the delivery of reviewed, reconciled, and approved client generated financial reports and interfaces.Assists in the analysis of billing operational procedures, reporting, and reconciliation.Provides technical assistance in the development of reporting to support billing operations.Conducts training of data models and data dictionaries with a core concentration in billing operations.

 

 

Description of Skills Required to Perform this Job:

 

Ø Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university; or one or two years related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Ø 2+ years prior mgmt exp in a similar environment.

Ø Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.

Ø Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Ø Ability to read and interpret documents such as accounting, financial, and technical design documents.

Ø Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

Ø Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Ø Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages

Ø Excellent attention to detail  

Ø Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ø Self directed and highly motivated team leader

Ø Excellent organizational skills

Ø Experience dealing with external contacts and adhering to contractual agreements.

Ø Demonstrated ability to use good judgment and logical reasoning

Ø Ability to make sound decisions

Ø Working knowledge of health care policies/procedures helpful

Ø Good time management skills

Ø PC Experience – MS Word, Excel, Outlook
