Leading nationwide Bankruptcy Servicing Company that provides total bankruptcy management services to organizations who own or service automobile loans and residential mortgages is seeking qualified candidates for the following positions to join our exciting fast-paced work environment:

 Data Entry/File Opening ClerksPayment, Compliance and Monitoring (PCM) Bankruptcy SpecialistsPlan AdministratorsPortfolio AdministratorsBankruptcy Specialists

General Job Duties:

 

Qualified candidates must be team players that are organized, detail-oriented and have the desire to learn bankruptcy procedures and processes.

 Handle incoming calls from attorneys, debtors, and clients. Process closing packages on dismissed cases. Follow up on hearings, first liens and confirmation hearings. Contact attorneys and trustees regarding plan amounts, and current status of payment to plans. Ensure proper bankruptcy materials are filed with the appropriate bankruptcy court or trustee’s office.Review new filings and ensure all documents, proof of claims, and notice of appearance are filed.Researching and filing of ‘Proof of Claims’ with various bankruptcy courts and monitoring and tracking the status of claims. Maintain complete files on bankruptcy proceedings and prepare periodic reports, review bankruptcy actions to ensure that established procedures are followed and process bankruptcy documents as required.Retrieve and review pacer dockets. Contact debtors regarding delinquency of loans through written correspondence. Calculate accuracy of payments received versus payments shown in trustee ledger.Update client system and bankruptcy system regarding client, court, and in-house activities and data.Calendar follow ups on files, deadlines, local counsel actions, requested information, etc.Be able to meet daily/weekly goals and deadlinesCommunicate with client, court, local counsel, and debtors in a professional manner.Review mail received electronically, via a system update, and via postal services from clients, courts, and local counsel for relevance to cases in portfolio and take any necessary actions based off the contents of that mail.Work from weekly reports to check status on files via Pacer/Aacer or through local counsel and to reconcile client and company systemsPerforms team projects with deadlines as delegated by management or Team Leads.

Work Experience Requirements:

·  Computer literacy: Fast typing skills, fast 10-key, Intermediate MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook.

·  Superb grammar and spelling skills necessary.

·  Excellent communication skills are a MUST.

·  Ability and enthusiasm to multi-task, organize and prioritize in a fast-paced, high volume environment.

·  Proven ability to multi-task and handle time sensitive issues.

·  Ability to make independent judgments and recommendations.

·  Recent college graduates with excellent grades and an ability to demonstrate the above listed skills preferred.

·  3-5 years of bankruptcy experience preferred.

·  Strong knowledge of bankruptcy rules and regulations, as it relates to bankruptcy filings preferred.

·  Related experience in bankruptcy, mortgage, or banking industries a plus.

·  Experience with Altel, Pacer, and Newtrack a plus.

·  Familiar with Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 plans.
